ServiceNow User Group Meetings
are something we at INRY always look forward to. It’s a special experience when the ServiceNow community comes together to share information and discuss future projects. They give us the opportunity to tell our success stories and give real-life insights while collaborating with our partners at ServiceNow and mutual customers. The latest developments to the NOW platform and the recent release of Madrid led to many great conversations, something everyone eagerly awaited. If you attended the event, you know there are a lot of new features and capabilities to explore and leverage.
Being a client ourselves, we were most excited about sharing our own success story with the NOW platform and how we create Efficient Agile Secure Experiences. We run our business on ServiceNow; from HR, finance, delivery, learning management, PMO to sales, everything is powered by the centralized system of ServiceNow. By sponsoring this event, we were able to share our story in a personal way.
The highlight of our story was our one day upgrade to Madrid with minimal customization to Madrid within a few hours. We had a great time sharing our findings and experiences with the attendees of the latest SNUG.
Rethink data security with Madrid
The new data security options of Madrid are the most exciting capabilities of the new release, with Antivirus Scanning being the most popular. At a high level, these new security features help users protect their instances against virus infections caused by file attachments to system records, such as incidents, problems, and stories.
Another significant feature of Madrid is it’s new Instance Security Center dashboard, a centralized place to detect, protect, and respond to instance-based security events.
Our Director of Technology, John VanBruggen explains data security options in ServiceNow:

Continuing the conversation
It’d be an understatement to say that the Minnesota SNUG was a hit. Listening to our clients’ experiences made the event even more memorable. Providing personalized guidance and helping attendees build engaging solutions at SNUGs is something our consultants do out of their passion for the platform.
